We brought this kitchen to the 21st Century by opening the wall to the dining area and expanding with a peninsula. Crisp white cabinetry is offset with handmade backsplash tile in shades of marine blue. Though it is a small space, it packs a punch with loads of lower storage, upper cabinets to the ceiling, and plenty of counter space. Details like handy spice drawers flanking the industrial-grade stove, and a touch-activated faucet make this kitchen a real gem.
